Ruger to be fined
The federal government has proposed over $255,000 in fines against a New Hampshire firearms manufacturing center alleging 60 safety and health violations between November and May.
Officials say inspections at Sturm Ruger & Co. in Newport identified many mechanical, respirator protection, electrical, lead, and fire hazards.
That’ll teach them to get in the EBR market! I kid.

Ah, so we’ll back off on the destruction of gun rights, but we’ll go after the manufacturers. I get it.

One suspects that this crew might have already visisted a few ammo production facilities….

initial fines, both osha and environmental, are almost always ridiculously high and get negotiated down by the attorneys in exchange for additional safety (new and improved respiratory protection program for example) and environmental (processes to reduce use or increase recycling of lead) awareness programs. i’d expect that the final fine would be in the 50-75k range.

Still seems mysteriously timed.
I also have a feeling that nearly every gun maker is probably slated for a few of these.
Think about, shut down Gun Makers via OSHA.

There are few manufacturing facilities in the country that could pass a OSHA inspection.

Other than guns and a few cars, what else is still manufactured here? They chased everyone else out already.
