Vertical grips on pistols

You should not put a vertical forward grip on your Glock for a couple of reasons. One is that ATF considers it an Any Other Weapon subject to NFA rules. And two, the grip my come off causing you to shoot yourself in the hand (with video).

This is a big problem with Mac-10s too – the proper technique is to start shooting with both hand on the weapon instead of marrying the second hand after the firearms starts rising. Or, marry the support hand to the gripping hand and slide it forward to a forward grip. NEVER JUST RAISE YOUR SUPPORT HAND TOWARDS THE BARREL WHEN THE FIREARM IS SHOOTING.

The ATF could care less about vertical grips on machine guns.

  3. Vote For David Says:

You forgot reason #3 which is the biggest of all:

Vertical foregrips on pistols are stupid. Unless you have a machine pistol, but then of course, those are not “in common use . . . .”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
