Caleb will buy one! Does it come with a cup of coffee?

My head is exploding

I’ll admit… I read it for a while scratching my head before I realized it was a joke.
The “switching from 20lb to 10lb paper” was the last line I read thinking it was real.

I don’t care who you are, that right there is funny.
And I’m a Ruger fanboy. Well, fan at any rate…

Kel-tec came up with a similar gun about a month before Ruger released this model.

I like it, but I’m surprised they didn’t go with the established 17 caliber. Newness for newness’ sake is overdoing things.

“I like it, but I’m surprised they didn’t go with the established 17 caliber.”
Hmmmmmmmmm. A .17 HMR auto pistol. I’d buy one just for the novelty of it.
(Yes, I am aware of the .17 HMR/semi-auto rifle issue. I’m not saying the pistol is a GOOD idea.)
(Seriously, does anyone know if NAA ever chambered, or considered chambering, their revolvers in .17 HMR?)

Do I take it that this is not real? Because I had a gun like that, maybe a little bit bigger, that I think fired CB caps.

Dwight,
NAA stopped making revolvers in the .17hmr because of manufacturing problems and issues w/ the tiny bottle necked cartridge.

…and the image shows up on the Brady Campaign website as the latest/greatest/horriblest threat in ‘ultra concealable’ pistols in 3…2…1…

OK, since a lot of bloggers are saying all handguns are pretty much equal in “stopping power”, would this make a good handgun for bear protection? I’m going on a seal clubbing vacation in Canada and I’ve been advised sometimes we have to protect ourselves against polar bears. Should I carry an extra clip, just in case?

hehehehehehe
… loved this bit in the article “Besides, the damn thing’s cute, does anyone actually care about application?”

Does the flavor of the PopRock affect muzzle velocity?
Does grape work better than cherry? Is the ammo field reloadable? How does one keep reloading supplies safe from the chilluns?
Inquiring minds want to know …

4 oz. of steel is required for it to be legal, otherwise it’s banned as a plastic gun. That amounts to a ban on miniature guns. Thank you, Senator Charles “Dickhead” Schumer.

Midway is already offering a trigger kit to improve the awful 25 lbs trigger, and two guys got banned from the firing line for publishing overly hot loads based on RDX.

Do they have it in Magnum?
