Dude, campaign is over
So, last night, Barack Obama hit the campaign trail and told everyone how if he was elected we’d withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan; fix the economy; shut down gitmo; create jobs; give everyone health care; and how it was all Bush’s fault.
Wait, that was the state of the union? He’s already president. Oh. Err. Well.
And Bush is a free market type? Laughable on its face.
Anyway, I found it amusing that a lot of it was campaign promises that he has yet to deliver and campaign promises he’s broken. Since they all have expiration dates.
Then the rhetoric about bipartisanship and reaching across the aisle and the the politics of destruction. As he blamed everything on Bush.
Cognitive dissonance, only without the feeling.
ETA: Oh yeah, and props for drilling and nuclear power were quickly retracted when he proposed cap and trade and climate legislation.

Somebody should have clued the zero in: It’s the State of the UNION address, not the state of the tool in the oval office address.

And he declared heathcare the hill he’s going to die on. I’m comfortable with that.

I loved it when he said “Even if you don’t believe the data about climate change” and there was audible laughter. All I could think was, “Oh, that faked data? yeah I totally believe that.”

There was a reason Jillary was shipped out of the country during the SOTU adress.
Otherwise she would have butted in and demanded the super delegates throw their support behind her plan.

With his SOTU, Obama had the opportunity to extricate himself from the hole into which he’s dug himself. He’s still down there. Deeper than ever now.
His vicious attack on the Supreme Court was a rude act of desperation. He’s flailing.

I have to disagree, he has delivered lots of CHANGE! He has trapled the Constitution, commited treason, attempted to sell our Country to the UN(or whats left of it anyway) and he has TRIPLED or maybe QUADRUPLED our deficit. He has given us plenty of CHANGE, its just BAD CHANGE! I REFUSE to ever be ANYTHING but AMERICAN! I was BORN THAT WAY and I WILL DIE THAT WAY! I cant help it its in my blood, I am a direct decendant of Francis Scott KEY, I cant hide from REVOLUTION its in my DNA! BUY MORE AMMO

Just dissonance. No cognitive. “I think, therefore I am” has become merely “I am.”

I loved the reaction from the Supreme Court when he slapped them in the face. It was priceless. I also had a chuckle when he pointed all ten of his fingers, and maybe some toes, at ‘Ol Bushy. When all else fails, blame the other guy.

Obama is like the 40 year old who still blames his childhood or his parents for the fact that he won’t work, is a drunk, and useless. At no point does it ever become his turn to take any responsibility for himself.
Nice work if you can get it and don’t mind being as useful as tits on a jeep.
