The Momlogic piece states unequivocally ”
More than 500 children die annually from accidental gunshots.” In what country? According to WISQARS in 2006 (latest available data) the total number of accidental gunshot deaths of people 17 years and younger (“children”) in the U.S. was 102. In 2005, 127. In 2004, 105. In 2003, 102.
Why aren’t the actual numbers ever scary enough for gun banners? Why must they always inflate the statistics?

I took mom out last year to do some shooting for mother’s day, and although we weren’t able to go out yesterday, it’s on the plan as part of her present.
