The Open Carry Ban that didn’t pass has now passed the senate. Off to the governor. A part of me wants it to pass so the law can be challenged.
ETA: Or maybe not. The press has released a couple of stories about it that don’t seem consistent. Stay tuned.

From what I’ve read on the OC boards, it passed with amendments, which had to go back to the assembly to get approved, and then got killed because they couldn’t get it done before midnight. So the end result is the bill is dead now. AP has an article.

Both the Washington Post and the AP are reporting it died when sent back to the Assembly.

All the anti-gun/anti-hunting bills failed! The Antis tried a last-minute ram-it-through strategy, and got beat by a last-minute run-out-the-clock strategy.

If the People’s State of California wants to rejoin the Republic, first they need to replace all their stupid Politicians, change their Laws back to that which is Constitutional, and arrest, convict and jail all those who break those laws. If they want to keep going the way they are, then let them go back to Mexico and replace them with Guam. Then we can see how well they can enforce their Anti-Gun Laws against the Mexican Drug Cartels.
