I love this guy’s interview technique. He found out where they were from, where they are going, and how they will be traveling there. All within a polite and even friendly conversation. Well done trooper!
Note that it’s working the other direction as well: the citizens were polite, friendly, answered questions (with only as much as they needed to say). So, it works both ways, and really, it requires all parties to work well together to have such a good outcome.

Wow that really brightened my day. No idea what the story is with the guys protesting (or even if they are, or just fishing) but that cop was awesome.
Kinda reminds me of the cop who arrested me. Good friendly cops make EVERYTHING go smoother.

WOW. That was amazing – really went a long way to showing me there are some good ‘good guys’ left.
