Facebook and elections
I got most of my election results coverage from facebook. Really. It was faster, all in one place, and convenient. And you get great commentary like:
Apparently the folks in California were too stoned to remember to legalize weed.
And my favorite:
2008: Yes, we can.
2010: No, you shouldn’t have.
Heh.

Massachusetts version:
2006: “Yes We Can” (Obama nicked that line from Patrick)
2010: “Well we didn’t, but Yes we can!”
Glad to hear other states are doing smart things.

I’m still laughing at the fact that Californians elected a dead woman. Laughing, but sadly not surprised.

In other news, the People’s Demokratik Republik of Kollyvornia remains the People’s Demokratik Republik of Kollyvornia.

Hey, maybe weed being illegal makes it taste all the sweeter. A toke in the face of the man.

One of the best posters going around has the obama logo with the text; “Change it back”

I was so pissed off when I saw the results come in. Of all the places you’d think California would legalize it. It doesn’t matter though. After a few hits I forgot about the whole thing.
