Illinois State Police Go To Bat for Privacy

They refuse to release information about who in the state is authorized to own a firearm. Good for them.

Call me a cynic, but I doubt they’re holding on to the information for anything other than their own best interests.

I wonder if they’re afraid the press will uncover felons on the list?

No I’m pretty sure they already know how to find the mayor.

  3. Andy Says:

There are likely a lot of retired cops on the list, and they know that.

  4. Magus Says:

The list should comprise every non-incarcerated citizen of the state excluding some malefactors who’ve given their parole(1) to disarm(2) as condition of release*

I try to notify every anti-gunner I meet that a list of who has guns is terrible as it highlights those that do not. In the future I see criminals targeting the non gun owners simply because they know they are not armed due to a process they supported. Just wait for the crying when this is recognized…

The Illinois Attorney General is as soft as whale crap on this one!

They don’t give a fuck about anyone’s privacy but their own, and they’re on that list.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
