Pure Genius is recognizable from the Homer Simpson “Doh!” reaction I get when something like this comes along, and I realize I coulda shoulda woulda thought of it first – if I was a Pure Genius.
I thought the point of a snap cap was so that the firing pin hit a surface that either had a spring or a surface that was soft so that it was not stressed by the sudden deceleration of being fully extended?
However since most modern guns can be dry fired without risk to the firing pin these days that would be a great way to ensure empty chambers.
Actually, they are better than snap caps, because the nylon is almost indestructible. And at the price per, plus the high visibility yellow, everyone wins (except the snap cap makers).
See, if you load those and a drywall screw in front of a .22 blank, then your “honey do” list to hang up those towel bars, just became a worthy gunnie challenge!

Perfect for revolvers, sure. But you still need something with a more accurate profile for your semiautos.

And the free ice cream was really good, except of course there were no damn sprinkles or chocolate sauce.

Great idea! Just don’t ever carry around a loose cylinder that’s loaded. You just might drop it between your legs and touch off one or more rounds.

At least, that’d be my excuse?
