With all my recent knife blogging
50% off knives at Amazon. I’m still digging CRKT’s Delegate. It took a bit to get used to the stiff opening mechanism but, ergonomically, it’s great. Feels fine in the hand, light weight and is one of the sharpest knives I’ve ever bought. Only con is it’s not good for any left handed folks.

It is nice, isn’t it? I just had to send mine in for some work (which I may or may not blog about, once the whole thing is settled), and I really didn’t want to put it in that box to ship back.
Now, if they could just make an ambidextrous version…

The Zing is in there. Its an Ambi.
Also my favorite beside the CRKT Vertex, and also one of the thinner knives I have which is nice when I carry a knife in the change pocket of my Jeans, and a gun in the pocket beneath it.

No safety on the Zing, though. After having an assisted opener partially open in my pocket multiple times, a safety is one of my requirements.

carry it clipped with the blade opening into the closest seam and it can’t open in your pocket.
If you carry it clipped in your right front pocket, on against the down leg (right) edge, and you have the blade open to the right, it can’t open without being removed from the pocket.

Just picked up the CRKT M21-14SFG. Love it so far.

I ended up picking up a Delegate as well… wow you weren’t kidding about a stiff opening. I nearly hurt myself the first time.
Still, I agree about the feel and fit of it being quite nice. Darn attractive too.
