Admitting Defeat
The Brady Campaign To Cling To Relevancy on their own top rated state of California’s gun laws:
“It wasn’t a failure of laws,” said Amanda Wilcox, who along with her husband, Nick, lobbies for the California chapter of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. “I just don’t see how our gun laws could have stopped something like that.”
See, you’re getting it now.

Uh, no they don’t. Since the Article used the phrase “Semi-Automatic” several times, it’s OBVIOUS to the Brady Bunch that the NEXT round of Anti-Freedom Laws in the People’s Republik of Kalifornia is to Ban ALL Private Ownership of “Semi-Automatic” Firearms. And even though there is no “Gun Registration,” they can just use the Kalifornia DOJ’s Database of Firearms Transactions to find out Who Bought What, and then go after them if they don’t turn them in after a few months. Remember, this is the EXACT Same Strategy that Disarmed England, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
Stay Tuned.

I guess the next new buzz-phrase will be “deadly assault pistols”.

Same planet, different worlds. We’ll see that and say “the laws wouldn’t stop it; they’re counterproductive and should be removed; they’ll see that and say “the laws wouldn’t stop it, obviously we need more.”

Bad headline. While they did admit the gun control laws didn’t work here, the Bradys did not say they would stop advocating for them.

Their other favorite state, NY, just gave up 5 big points by scrapping COBIS, going from 4th place with 62 to 5th place with 57; Connecticut with 58 is now 4th.
Lots of downward changes this year for the Brady rankings.

“While they did admit the gun control laws didn’t work here, the Bradys did not say they would stop advocating for them.”
So, essentially, they’re admitting that they’re insane, and/or they have ulterior motives. But we knew that.

So, she’s saying that the laws didn’t fail, because the laws can’t succeed? Uh . . .
April 7th, 2012 at 11:38 am
But that is exactly why these anti-gun laws ARE failures, every damned time!

Anti-gun laws are not aimed at reducing crime. They are aimed at turning we the people into we the serfs. The Brady Bunch are as much as admitting it in this article.

She is also not saying that the Brady Bunch does not believe that some concatenation of laws COULD prevent such shootings — a false statement to everyone but the Brady Bunch, but as better writers than I say above, what is not said is as important as what is said.
