Meanwhile, at the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Ownership annual meeting
I’m sorry, that was unrealistic. They actually can’t afford to rent a convention center.

Of course, if they were Guest Speakers at a GSA Conference, you’d have a different picture up. ; )

I feel sorry for them. Nick Brady needed getting shot like he needed a hole in the head. Reagan’s would-be assassin gets weekly forloughs and likely still masturbates over photos of Jodie Foster. (She does not like boys, Hinckley, get over it). Sarah had to find a way to make a living. She doesn’t really hate guns, she bought her son a rifle.

Amazing how a few handfuls of people doing negative things changed the world for the worse:
The murderers of JFK, RFK, MLK helped usher in the GCA of 1968.
The attempted killing of Reagan spurred the Brady Campaign.
The horrible Stockton, CA shootings led to the Reagan-Bush bans on certain “assault weapons” and laid groundwork for the Clinton AWB, and California’s Draconian gun restrictions.
19 hijackers in Sept 2011 killed thousands of civilians here in the States, got us into long-lasting wars that cost us too many lives and drained our Treasury, and helped justify an overarching state security apparatus. With the additional result of making air travel even less pleasant and convenient.
A semi-retarded would-be hijacker trying to ignite his shoes, and a goofy plot supposedly involving liquid explosives further increased air-travel misery.
And so on, and so on.
Margaret Mead once said: “Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
Perhaps she didn’t realize that a few uncaring, evil and selfish people could do the same, too.

Maybe they can pick up some some cash at a day-job cleaning the convention-center carpet.

Thanks for making me laugh!

based on what I see, Joyce is cutting them back again. So maybe a Red Roof Inn will host them and their 9 followers/members.

Noted anthropologist Margaret Mead?

Aaron: It’s always just a handful of douchebags that screw things up for everybody else.
And sure the Bradys can rent a convention center, they just have to find a way to make taxpayers pay for it. ‘Course, the place is still gonna be empty, because anti-gun shows have gotta be lame.

“Perhaps she didn’t realize that a few uncaring, evil and selfish people could do the same, too.”
not so much…its the caring, misguided folks who react to them; they’re the ones that can really screw up our world.
what was it Thoreau said he should do if he saw someone coming with the conscious design to do him good?

Them and the GSA should do a joint convention. They are all the same types of big government, screw the people type.

Aaron, it was not those few handfuls of people doing negative things that caused the change. It was millions of gun owners who did nothing that allowed those changes to take place. Blaming the few handfuls for anti-gun laws is like blaming guns for committing crimes.
There are around one-hundred million firearms owners in the United States. A large number of them vote for politicians whom are anti-gun, including Obama.
