So much fail
FoxNews: A man was killed during a Masonic initiation ceremony when another member fired a gun loaded with real bullets instead of the expected blanks and shot him in the face, police said Tuesday.
There’s a reason why you treat guns like they’re loaded and also don’t point them at things you don’t want holes in.

How do you spot a freemason? He has powder burns on his face…

That’s an oldie. And while it is still really stupid, it’s from 2004.

Is this called the Brandon Lee Initiation Rite?

As a Freemason, i can confirm that there is absolutely NO part of the initiation that includes guns. If so, they were doing prohibited works and would not be accepted by nationwide. You can find the entire ceremonies online, and there is no part of even “scaring us” like specified.
Also, IIRC, the lodge was closed because of that incident.

Well I guess Mr. James won’t be joining now.
So they used a REAL gun? Shades of Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee;s son who died on a filming set when ‘somehow’ a live round got in a gun and shot him dead.
When will these people learn to NOT USE REAL GUNS at all unless you intend putting holes in whatever you point it at.

I’m a WA Freemason and I there are no firearms at all associated with the initiation. I had seen this a while ago. Never the less it still angers me when I see it because it scares people off from the fraternity and does untold damage.
