Either the ADA should be repealed or it should be replaced with a law that provides helpers to read or carry or whatever for the disabled, it’d be cheaper probably and the unemployed need jobs. In fact maybe people who can’t work could be issued convicts that would earn checks for them but we’d need to name the program something that would denote the opposite of slavery so no one would get upset.
I know architects who get paid well Judy to deal with the ADA consequences of designs. I also think we’ve all seen wheel chair ramps that lead to no where.
Yes, on occasion, when people won’t do the right thing, we do need the government to make them
I agree whole completely.
As a Christian, it bothers me that so many people don’t raise their children to love and worship God. We have but a limited time on this Earth and when we die, those who don’t follow Christ’s path are doomed to an eternity in hell.
The right thing to do is force children to read the Bible and pray. We need to ensure that all schools have access to Bibles, that they designate one room as a sanctuary (it’s already built, so it won’t be a major cost burden), and the government needs to force people to do the right thing!
Sound good to you?
No?
Then take your ‘force people to do the right thing’ and shove it up your ass.
The .gov forcing every pool owner to buy one does not equal a market. If there was a market, the .gov would not need to force it.
We will pay for the access.
No. You, through the .gov, are forcing everyone else to pay for your access. Even people who can’t or don’t swim, because municipal pools are funded by local tax dollars.
Admit it, you might wear cowboy boots, but you don’t seem to find jackboots very offensive when you benefit from them.
I say if those that want to swim want to use the lift, let em… at $25 per use. Yes, $25. If you believe there’s such a massive market for these, then you shouldn’t have any problem paying into it. You’re the one that uses it, after all.

Fine, Tango. And we drive a mile to the Y for only $0.25 more, not $25.00 more. Or Michigan Beach, where it’s free.
It’s stopped been fun. Thank you.
