Fire Bob Costas
Seems the backlash against Costas has started.
Heh.
If you’re none too happy with Bob Costas, you can contact his employer. Some one sent me the contact info (not sure if she wants a cite so I’m not saying for now) so let them hear it:
Let NBC and Costas know what you think about his anti-gun comments. Remember, keep it short, civil and to the point!…

In the future, Costas needs to spend more time in redneck bars.
December 3rd, 2012 at 8:24 pm
piece of shit should apologize for that!

So outlaw knives, baseball bats, falling trees, lightning, cars and trucks too because they all kill people (and pennies because children have choked on them).
Sick or demented or troubled, whatever the excuse, people will find a way if they wish to do harm to another person.
Costas needs to go away if that’s what he wants to talk about. So does every idiot who supports him!

Don’t forget pick up trucks. NFL player Travis Henry was killed falling from a pick up truck during a domestic dispute. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4755765

If you are unhappy with our constitution you are welcome to live elsewhere. If you are unhappy with idiots in this country. Do something to educate them. If you are unhappy with all of the ilegitmate children in this country do something to help. If you are unhappy with violence in this country do something to positive to change the culture. Guns don’t kill mr costas, idiots kill. If you believe taking guns away will solve our problems you are seriously mistaken. People will find a way to kill. I have lost a great deal of respect for you. Your ignorant and inacurate political views have no place on sporting shows. You should be fired for preaching stupidity

I used to think Costas was a “reasonable” person based on his interviews. I didn’t realize the idiocy hiding beneath the surface. OJ found a way to kill without a gun, where do we stop the ban. Run for office if you want to push your liberal views on others. If you are a “sportscaster” stick with sports.

DADvocate, that was Chris Henry. You scared me. Travis Henry is still alive, and presumably still very prolific.

Costas, stop politicizing a tragedy!! If you are in favor of gun control, run for office!! Sunday night football is NOT the place for your personal views!!!! We won’t be watching you anytime soon!!!!
December 5th, 2012 at 10:47 am
Costas should be fired! I want to watch football not be preached to.
December 7th, 2012 at 5:41 am
FIRE Bob Costas! He has no credentials to misappropriate the national airways to politicize a trajedy. If I want to be preached to, I”ll go to church. His arrogance far exceeds his understanding to respect the United States Constitution. He has insulted our American heritage and values. ANY event he broadcasts will be boycotted. His advertisers will suffer economic losses for his betrayal of our core values that make America great.

Costas is not an informed or responsible journalist to not have checked out the facts that vehicle accidents maim and kill more people in the US than guns ever have by a ratio of more than 4 to 1. But, no one ever brings this up. I will no longer view any programs on NBC or it’s local affiliates until Mr. Costas is reprimanded for expressing private opinions in an unrelated public forum.BTW outlaw all airliners….remember 9-11

He needs to find a new job!!!!
FIRE HIM!!!
I will not watch in till you fire him.
