It was a valid snipe. I had it in my written testimony as well, but dropped it from my spoken since he covered it. Here in CT by law any building the General Assembly is meeting in is a gun free zone. There are signs posted at all the entrances, but usually that’s it. For that hearing they brought in full body metal detectors and had a full TSA style security checkpoint. Belts off, etc. It caused hours of delays getting in. Obviously they knew a law and a sign wouldnt stop someone from bringing in a gun.

Right Dirk, but the national media will probably totally ignore this. Our government officials are the EMPLOYEES. They should be answering questions from their EMPLOYEES like him!! Ask them to say if they want Congress to be gun-free like they have imposed upon shcoolchildren??

That’s because he is! They are the EMPLOYEES working UNDER his and our “delegated powers”. The greater ALWAYS delegates to the lesser. And they have NO “delegated powers” to infringe on our right to acquire, keep and carry whatever weapons we so choose!
