Well, we knew that. But now she’s claiming that someone defending themselves with a gun never happens. If that’s the case, why does she have armed bodyguards?

She’s parroting the Mother Jones line. Mother Jones’ analysis simply defines a “mass shooting” by the number of victims, which by definition eliminates from the dataset all incidents where the killer was stopped by an armed citizen –. i.e. the ones that contradict their thesis.
It’s a very well calculated lie, just plausible and serious-looking enough for their sycophants and the media (but I repeat myself). Not sure whether Watts knows that or not.

I read an account once, wherein a cop found a guy shooting up heroine on the street. Now the War on (some) drugs is another matter, but anyway; the guy had the needle sticking in his arm when the cop found him. His reply?
“That’s not my arm.”
This story reminds me of that.

I have had no less then 6 occasions where I have drawn my gun with the intent to use it versus another human. This is in addition to the 2 occasions where I was threatened by a vicious dog.
I am lucky that none of those occasions required discharge of the gun.
On one of the occasions, it stopped a couple of meth heads from jumping me. On another occasion, I had two people angry at me when I called the police for them squatting in my vacant rental home. The male came at me screaming how he was going to kill me, until I drew my weapon.
I realize, I am an outlier on the use end. But I can confirm 6 self defense uses all by my lonesome.

Perhaps she thinks those weapons her guards have are exclusively for her protection, not their own.
