The Huey P. Newton Gun Club
A black gun activist group. I’m all for everyone’s gun rights but the whole black panther, walking around with your face-covered thing strikes me as bad marketing.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Wasn’t it the Panthers walking around with guns that kicked off the efforts that resulted in the GCA of ’68?

The gun activism is a small part of the total activism of Huey’s group. And it is meant to be in-your-face activism.
The white suburbanites had enough trouble with the Bubbas carrying rifles in their Starbucks, just wait til they see this (again). 1968, here we come!

rickn8or,
Yes, you’re correct, the original Black Panther party exercising their 2nd Amendment rights was a chief pretext for the 68 GCA. It was probably supported by many “law and order” conservatives along with the left, not realizing that what goes around comes around. Of course, the left is still down with trampling whatever civil rights when necessary for the government to disarm us.
