Things that look like very bad ideas
Zero Carry. No trigger guard and stick something up the barrel, no problem.

Yeah….
I have the similar VersaCarry but it does cover the trigger.
The key on these is that they are not holsters. They’re clips you attach to your gun. When you draw you remove the gun from the clip. To put it away you have to remove the clip from your pants and re-attach it to the gun. In other words, if you have to use your gun just plan on setting it down while you wait for the cops to come (and the adrenaline to leave).

Yah, and the “model” has the gun pointing at his dick. So maybe he won’t father any people too stupid to know that pointing a gun at your dick without a trigger cover, among other things, is a bad idea.

Al that is is a NY Dee Cover, aka a coat hanger

No thanks. The only things that I’ll put into the barrels of my guns are bullets and a cleaning rod.

Are those people that profoundly stupid? Gawd. A little plastic rod up the barrel is going to stop a bullet better than, oh… not pulling the trigger on a loaded gun? Please, astound me further with your vast knowledge. Or get a damned holster. I’d suggest the holster; it’s less likely to get you punched in the face.

That is the worst idea I have seen in a long, long time.

While I would not use this thing the secret to not blowing your penis off is either not putting you damn gun in your waist band or not playing with it until it goes off… That is generally how most things go off at inopportune times, playing with it.

Versa carry only covers trigger on one side.

With a long DAO trigger or an explicit safety you actually keep on, it’s not quite suicidal.
It’s still … probably a bad idea generally.

Not sure how popular those would be where it gets freakin’ cold out, DESPITE AGW “science”.
It looks like it would take a lot of “getting used to”, I’ll stick with what I know (which holds an extra Mag as well)

I hovered the mouse over all of those tiles on their website. Each tile comes up with a different description of the holster. Tellingly, the missing word is “safe.”

Any carry solution that does not entirely cover the trigger of your firearm is wrong.
