But they have all that gun control

Mass shooting in South Korea. Make that two.

Good thing they have all that strict gun control there:

When news of frequent shooting incidents comes out of the United States, Koreans let out a small sigh of relief for living in a place where gun ownership is strictly illegal.

Military service for Korean men is mandatory, but that is probably the only time a regular civilian will have a chance to hold a gun.

From reading the articles, both shooters had retrieved their firearms from their local police stations. Both shooters legally owned the firearms they used to commit their crimes. South Korea citizens can own firearms but the firearms are required to be stored in their local police stations. Also from my time in South Korea, mostly in Seoul, there are lots of cops around. Mostly in small two man police stations thoughout the city. So there are lots of guns in S. Korea, but they are mostly controlled by the goverment.

Speaking of which, South Korea has had approximately 40,000 U.S. troops protecting them against invasion since 1953. Meanwhile the Federal government refuses to “protect the States against invasion” in flagrant violation of Article IV, Section 4 (U.S. Constitution)

Also a few years back, I think South Korea returned a very large number of surplus M-1 rifles originally paid for by U.S. taxpayers, but instead of allowing them to be sold to us, they were to be destroy, as then Sec of State, Hillary Clinton said, lest “they fall into the wrong hands”‘, i.e., the American people.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
