Safe Draw passive safety for Glock
Here’s their site. I don’t see a need for one but if you’re fond of heavy first trigger pulls, I guess it might work for you:

Someone should suggest this product to Bill Bratton and the NYPD. Add this to the 12 pound NY trigger, and no one will ever get shot!

Might make more sense to just remove the trigger. Much more safetier that way.
Or, why not a loaded chamber indicator that extends far enough above the slide to prevent holstering a loaded gun? Think of the huge savings in police training budgets……

So, it’s like installing a NY trigger externally? That’s even dumber than installing one internally.

From their website:
“Three of the most common reasons for accidents with handguns: 1) Casually showing a non-user a loaded gun. 2)Disassembling a loaded gun. 3)Playing with the gun.”
Somehow I think it’s a better idea to just simply not do any of those things.

If you are that worried about inadvertently making your gun go bang, just buy one with a manual safety.

How about just follow gun safety rules regardless if they have manual safeties or not?

So, we have a safety device that requires fiddling around very near the trigger, in the trigger guard, every time it is to be engaged? I am certain the mental giant who thought of this device has put a lot of detailed thought and discussion with experienced, professional shooters into its development; there should be no chance of error.

One of you talented folks needs to P-shop a gun, with a “grenade pin” type safety.
See how many Mommie Bloomberg types will bite on the bait.
