Feeling safe, is a self delusion. No matter who you are, where you are, you’re never truly safe from anything. Not the bad intents of evil people, drivers with their heads up their ass, nor the whims of Mother Nature.
You’re never, ever “safe”. Never have been, and never will be.
Since the U.S. Constitution is null and void in DC, I hardly venture over the bridge anymore to that “wonderful” city. I like to call it our little “Rome on the Potomac”.
