Students suspended in NJ for posting pictures of guns on social media with the caption “fund day at the range”
We should really bring back tar and feathers.

I continually find myself asking why schools (K-12 and college both) have the power to punish students for things they do off campus not during school hours.

It’s New Jersey, now just as backward/authoritarian as Old Jersey. Oh how far we have fallen.

They don’t. Not public schools, anyway. And definitely not for posting the pictures or for lawful possession and use of the guns. These school officials are in for a s**tload of legal grief.

They’re in no grief at all.
This is New Jersey, where firearm owners continue to own firearms “at their own peril”.
Which is the whole point.

The school almost immediately backed off and changed their rules. This wasn’t going to fly even in NJ.

Maybe one should check out the Superintendent and Principal’s Facebook page or web presence to see if they are adhering to the same standard.

Gun Rights’ Attorney Evan Nappen calls NJ a “gun owners’ hell”. As you can see, he’s spot-on.
I call it ‘Nazi Jerzey’. I’m SO glad I left that socialist sh!th@ole behind for good. Why? Some examples:
– Constitutional infringements out the wazoo
– highest Property Taxes of any state
– more property rules/regulations than any other state
– highest Car Insurance rates of any state
– incredible highway congestion and urban sprawl
– 1 of the few states with NO Over-The-Air TV station
– so much light pollution, Venus is only star visible
– even fireworks sparklers are illegal
– [your worst comment here; c’mon, don’t hold back!]
It’s shameful that current or former residents call NJ:
“The Armpit Of The Nation”.
