Excellent intel collection. have a conversation, lose the battle, Doesn’t matter. A closed conversation carefully controlled and recorded for the purposes of countering the arguments later in venues with no retort allowed. Win the war. You’ll see. This is how they operate. Testing, probing, collecting data. The right will never see it coming. Your nature is being used against you. Their leaders don’t care how nice you are. How honest you are. How ecumenical you are. How many children you have. How hard you work. If you help little old ladies across the street. They don’t care, they want you dead.

There is nothing the Left can hear in these conversations that will move them from their core beliefs of:
1. Self defense is not an individual right.
2. Tools cause damage by their mere existence.
3. The law abiding are as guilty of criminal misuse of guns as criminals.
4. Your individual rights are overruled by collective concerns for safety.
They can think all those things, but they are wrong.

The further I read into the article, the more I could see how the pro-gun people were being controlled. By the time I got to “I need my guns the way Rosa Parks ‘needed’ to sit at the front of the bus’ and the reaction to that, I gave up in disgust.
Apparently the civil rights of one group are more important than the civil rights of another. Got to remember that for the future.

Freeholder, I agree – that bit about Rosa Parks was an eye-opener for me — instead of actually thinking about what he was trying to say, her reaction was “RACISM” – and nothing else. The sad part is, the gentleman was citing Rosa as an example of a GOOD person – and “Need has nothing to do with it” – but it was apparently lost on her. She did say they she continued to engage (to her credit), but we are denied a look into whether she ever actually understood the point he was making. Sad.

Those at the top of the anti gun agenda have armed security. They want to take from others what they have and keep for themselves. Let them disarm–then we can talk.
Otherwise it’s a long established “self evident truth”:
