Err, whither crime?
Lame:
For motorists wondering whether police are working on a quota system, an answer can be found in Montana.
A new policy requires state troopers to stop at least one vehicle an hour, whether the driver has done anything wrong or not. But the driver doesn’t have to be ticketed, so police officials say it’s not a quota system.

No, it’s a harassment system.

And while they’re wasting time and creating a negative image pulling over someone who did nothing wrong, homes are being robbed, women raped, Meth is being “brewed” etc. If the cops have too much time on their hands then there are too many cops. Otherwise, deploy them where they are needed and leave the good drivers alone.

Depends on what you mean by “quota”.
And for the .gov, what could be wrong with conditioning citizens to the demand for “papers please”.

Even in Montana they just…..can’t…..help……themselves.
If ordered to line people up and shoot them, the only question police would have is: Do you want them shot alphabetically or tallest to shortest?
