So, the way to become a millionaire:
1. Start a gang.
2. Commit lots of crimes.
3. Say you’ll go straight and that you’ll try to convince others to as well
4. Collect $1.5 million from government.
5. Don’t go straight.
I just loooved this bit:
(Taxpayer-funded gang activity)
“The group [the gang] received $1.5 million from the city as a subcontractor on anti-gang efforts but its contract was cancelled last year after authorities learned Marroquin had hired relatives, including his son, Hector (Little Weasel) Marroquin.”
This is the epitome of leftist insanity– how to deal with the worst of the criminals? Pay them. It’s no wonder the city of Los Angeles is a piece of crap. ‘Course this is essentially the U.S. State Department’s policy regarding the jihadist-controlled Gaza strip in Israel, too, and with equally disastrous results.
When we sent a crew down to LA for a convention a few years ago, the police handed out maps showing the gang-controlled areas that convention-goers were to avoid. I thought, “What? They know precisely where the gangs are and they do nothing about them? Now it all makes sense—LA has gone completely corrupt and insane.
