Like you and me, only better
A while back, the privacy rights of handgun carry permit holders could have been protected. But Naifeh killed the bill. Now, a bill is written to protect the privacy rights of government employees and it is passed unanimously:
A proposal to close public access to state and local employees’ home addresses and phone numbers has passed the House.
Because they’re better than me and you.

I wonder if that includes property records:

I’m a little more cynical: its because they are doing things that might cause people to actually want to know where they live. So it could be arranged that they don’t.

It just strikes me as extremely henhouse friendly. You know, feather-legged.

They’re public employees. If they don’t want their information known to the public, it’s pretty simple– they can get private sector jobs. If they don’t trust their employers (us) they should never have applied for the job in the first place. We have the rights. They have only responsibilities.

Can’t you just just get it now and post it before it’s too late?

This is how “No Gun” Naifeh is going to keep his name off the carry permit database.
Remember his quote on voting no for restaurant and park carry? He thought it benefitted the “select few”. So why didn’t he vote no on gov’t employees records?
