Anyone can walk into a store and buy a hammer. No questions asked and without a background check.
Odd that the police chief is chastising bystanders for not intervening even though he seems content to deprive those same bystanders of the best means available for said intervention.

In the article i read, one official they did the right thing by not intervening. Pisses me right the hell off.
