More on Para’s Tactical Target Rifle
Defense Review has a piece on the rifle with lots of pics:
PTTR’s Manifold Injector System (MIS) (TM), which is located in the bolt carrier. Upon firing, gas flows through the tube inside the op-rod, and is expelled through the MIS. Para claims that this makes the PTTR “the cleanest running autoloading rifle in the world.” This is a rather bold claim, considering the plethora of gas piston/op-rod-driven tactical AR carbine systems a.k.a. tactical AR-15 carbine systems on the market.

I wonder if they’re going to go 6.8 SPC or 6.5 Grendel.
They did say there were other calibers in the works, that would be cool to get it in 6.8 and reuse my loading gear (I’d have to sell the current 6.8 as well as one, possibly both of my children).

At $2,300 I believe I’ll pass. That would let me buy at least two piston operated rifles.
