They were very smart when they implemented COBIS. There is no line item in the state police’s annual budget for it. The estimate a Senator gave us was $4 million per year, so we figure about $28 million spent thus far.

That’s right. They are pushing to expand it to include long guns.

You know, mabie if they asked the weapons nicely they would just tell you if they shot the shells… its about as feasable.
