Big Green Help
Our kids watch a lot of Nick. There’s a commercial for Big Green Help, which encourages kids to be more eco-friendly. There’s a game shown on TeeVee that you can access at the website where you run around zapping threats to the environment. One of the threats is a big truck. And not just any big truck. A big truck that is morphed into some evil looking Transformer type of thing. I guess they’re trying to scare kids into saving the Earth.

Isn’t the saying you don’t own the earth, you borrow it from your children? They’re the ones inheriting it, so I’m not surprised eco friendly concepts sell well on the marketplace of ideas.

i don’t really care that their doing their part to educate kids about being more environmentally conscientious. I care that they’re making common items (such as dad’s truck) look like an evil robot.

Ah, I see. Though I’ve often tried to make my F350 diesel beast look like an evil robot. It needs a few more inches of lift and some cooler wheels…but sheesh not in this economy.

Hey, I did my part yesterday.
I made sure the rifle range was completely clear of any .223 brass.
Reloading is recycling, right?

Heck, the recycling part is even a pun…

“I guess they’re trying to scare kids into saving the Earth.” No, they’re trying to scare kids into hating capitalists and capitalism. You’ll never see Nick telling kids how to protect liberty, for example, unless, by liberty, we only mean sexualizing youth, and foul language.

Lyle, I’d call that a bullseye.
