The DOJ likes to investigate violations of civil rights. Unless those rights are second amendment rights, then mums the word. Well, this seems like a start to fixing that:
A Freedom of Information Act request was filed Tuesday with the Department of Justice by attorney Stephen D. Stamboulieh. The request, filed on behalf of this writer, seeks DOJ statements of interest in defense of the Second Amendment comparable to what the Department has done in defense of the First Amendment.
Wouldn’t get my hopes up but I’m glad someone is doing it.

Having just gotten into shotguns with a new Beretta 1301 Comp, they have released a new, improved version.
Political correctness causes shooting:
The two suspects in this downtown shooting have been arrested 44 times with 20 convictions and 21 times with 15 convictions. Marquise Tolbert, the one with 20 convictions, had three felonies last year alone. You tell me how someone with three felonies in 2019 is walking around free and able to engage in a shootout that kills a woman and injures a bunch of other people, including a 9-year-old kid. Both Tolbert and William Tolliver, the other suspect, are just 24 years old. They both have previously been arrested and charged with drive-by shootings and unlawful possession of a firearm in 2018. So the courts knew full well that these were gun-toting gang members. Why did our justice system let them walk free? Why do we place criminals above law-abiding citizens?
A second amendment victory: IL Supreme Court: Misdemeanor convictions shouldn’t preclude gun ownership forever
He’d kind of disappeared for a while. But he has returned to saying dumb things. Apparently, gun control was invented centuries ago by trans-gendered people. Or something.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is nearing a milestone of closing its last remaining data center and moving all of its data and applications to the cloud.
By the end of the fiscal year, ATF wants to have all of its users transitioned over to a new commercial cloud environment and plans to close down the data center and repurpose it for office space, bureau CTO Mason McDaniel told FedScoop.
What could possibly go wrong?
NJT: The time to prep is not DURING the panic.
I too noticed that Amazon was out earlier in the week. It became an issue for me because I used all of mine up cleaning up fire extinguisher media. Ordinarily, I keep a box or two at the house. It’s not too late. I noticed today that the local Lowe’s had cases of them. I guess people go to Amazon first.

Hypocritical environmentalist is the new normal.
And another: CNN’s Don Lemon and guests mock Trump supporters as uneducated and illiterate
The dumbest man on TV, who once asked if a black hole sucked up a missing plane, is making fun of the ignorant? For the record, the reporter was the one who couldn’t identify Ukraine on a map. Lemon’s lack of self awareness isn’t new.

Building a FrankenGlock:
It’s sized like a G19. Next one should go much smoother. I had several work stoppages because I didn’t order a part. This also probably cost me a bit more than it should have just due to the shipping. Live and learn.
I may have just grabbed a Zev OZ9C instead but the C wasn’t out when I ordered the parts.
Brownells has released the BRN-180. Essentially, it eliminates need for a buffer tube when paired with the BRN upper receiver.
From Jay at Shooting Illustrated. They keep coming out with new OZ9s. Maybe I should have waited. Nah.
Mentioned earlier they were making Glock frames. Turns out, they’re making their own handgun that takes Glock magazines and is compatible with certain Glock parts. The trigger housing pin appears to be in the wrong spot so I’m guessing just the connector and trigger bar when it comes to triggers. Oh, and it’s under $300.
If it’s remotely reliable, they will sell a ton.
Rudy Giuliani plans to dump dirt on the corruption of the Bidens. I think you’re supposed to wait until he wins the primary.

I can think of several more, such as weaponizing the IRS, the Biden’s in Ukraine, and Weinstein’s relationship with prominent Dems.

The concept of having a lever gun in the same caliber as a revolver is appealing. This looks like a good choice for lever actions.
Laugo Arms Alien Pistol, the lowest bore axis in the world. Looks like it’d save wear and tear on an optic too.
