I’m sure Hallerin gave it his all in defending the judge who wants to plaster up a giant board with Christian dos and donts.

Well, Tennessee’s state constitution specificaly forbids atheists from holding office, so I don’t think we have much room to crow here.

By the way, Article One, Section 3 says: “That all men have a natural and indefeasible right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own conscience….” Hmm….

Excuse me Justin, but the last time I looked the ten commandments were in the old testament.
I’m not going to defend the monument or wish for it’s removal, but I will point out that W and the rest took the oath on a Christian bible

Mike, how does the provision you mentioned above square with Art. I, Sec. 4 (no political or religious test for public office)?
