Yeah, we know that already

Per the Associated Press:

A sweeping federal review of the nation’s gun control laws — including mandatory waiting periods and bans on certain weapons — found no proof such measures reduce firearm violence.

The review, released Thursday, was conducted by a task force of scientists appointed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC said the report suggests more study is needed, not that gun laws don’t work. But the agency said it has no plans to spend more money on firearms study.

Well, that was predictable. But that leaves two questions:

How much did such a study cost?

What does the CDC have to do with firearms? ( Is this where we have to turn for unbiased research? While they may have less of a bias, they also have less credibility — getting the CDC to do gun control law studies sounds like asking your foot doctor for an opinion on heart surgery. )

    OK, technically three questions…

Dunno what it costs but i do know the CDC is prohibited from using federal funds to promote gun control.

The CDC tracks deaths every year, including tallying firearm deaths.
