BSL Dealt A Blow
I missed this but apparently in August 2002, the Supreme Court of Alabama ruled that four pit bulls were not vicious. The city’s attorney argued that pit bulls are genetically prone to viciousness, which is a ludicrous claim. The court rightfully ruled that there was no genetic evidence that one breed of dog was more dangerous than another.
There is no scientific way to determine what breed a dog is. Breed identification is based solely on appearance. I think I’ll start telling people that Politically Incorrect Dog is a Chihuahua.
