He did what every other fan would have done
Guy is telling people how to find the world’s most infamous left fielder. If I were that guy, I’d buy a gun and run like hell (to a place like sunny Florida).
Update: I forgot, I don’t blog baseball as some say. I blog the reaction of people to baseball.

I can understand being upset and booing at the fan when the play happened, but all this media coverage and disclosing of his name and other personal information is ridiculous. As you say, most of the people who now decry him would have done the exact same thing.

He disclosed his name of his own accord. He held a press conference. But if you look at the photo, at least four or five other fans around him were also reaching for the ball. I feel really bad for the guy. As I comment on our blog, there’s plenty of blame to go around.
But Florida has offered asylum to the guy. They’ve offered him a free three-month stay at a resort and various other goodies. Now if they’ll just offer him a job. 🙂
