Sorry, I stand corrected. I was just saying, you know, that, umhh, that, you know, ahh, that err Blogger was, ehh, working you know, I was just saying, thats all ;-). It’s great to have you guys back. I was just funnin’ over my staying behind during the great MT exodus.
Actually, HM was attacked in the great cyberwar. After some duck and cover they fought back and won.
In more technical terms, one of the sites hosted on HM was subjected to a major denial of service attack. (By jihadi script-kiddies no less). HM took everyone offline to keep from affecting more than just HM, then redirected the one IP address that was being attacked and brought everyone else back up.
I’m not kidding about jihadis either, the site that was attacked is one that has been taking down (via pressure on internet hosts) the sites associated with terrorist organizations. So, you just got to watch something that is usually invisible. And I got to see my site go dead for several hours.
Sigh. Still, I don’t mind sacrificing for a good cause.
