Managers at the Newport Plain Talk newspaper want to find out who put KKK membership flyers in their newspapers.
Subscribers called the newspaper’s office after finding the flyers wrapped around newspapers with rubber bands.
The Plain Talk publisher said he didn’t know someone had added the flyers and whoever did it did not have permission.
This is the second incident involving the KKK flyers. Last summer, someone also added them to newspapers.

Sneaking your flyers onto the private property of the newspaper (until is passes to the hands of the subscriber, then it’s their private property) and using the paper’s distribution system without permission is not practicing free speech. And if you are a paper carrier doing it – it’s still wrong, even if you are an independent contractor and therefore not stealing your ‘service’.
It’s chickensh*t bovine excreta, not to be repetitively redundant. It’s theft of service, pure and simple. Fraud, too, if not so simple.
If you have the courage of your convictions, you would walk from house to house to distribute your blather.
But don’t wrap yourself in a flag, bubba. The flag doesn’t protect your right to use whatever venue you want for your speech.
If you are going wrap yourself in Constitution, at least read the whole thing and apply it.
