Al Gore claims to have invented Howard Dean
Hey, look at me. I’m all moderate and stuff.
At least, I think that’s the look Dean is going for (though it doesn’t quite fit):
Former Vice President Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean for the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, adding momentum and political prestige to Dean’s front-running campaign.
Gore said Dean “really is the only candidate who has been able to inspire at the grassroots level all over the country.” He said the former Vermont governor also was the only Democratic candidate who made the correct judgment about the Iraq war.

“He said the former Vermont governor also was the only Democratic candidate who made the correct judgment about the Iraq war.”
Dean, of course, was against the war in Iraq.
Proving once again that it was better to have Bush in the White House on 9/11 than Gore.

Please tell me when Al Gore ever claimed to have “invented the Internet.” If you’re going to ridicule a guy, you could at least ridicule something he actually said.
And opposition to the war in Iraq is a completely reasonable position to hold, even if you don’t agree with it. Especially since the administration seems to consistently “misunderestimate” the degree of involvement needed to really make Iraq a better place.

It’s called humor, tom. If i were to actually ridicule Gore, it would be because of other things.

I get that. Ridicule ~= Make Fun Of. Making fun of sometimes = humor.
The “invented the internet” quote is constantly getting thrown around and accepted as fact, so I’m a little sensitive to it. If you’re going to pick on Gore, how about something more substantive, such as his having roughly the same charisma as a paper plate.

Well I think charisma is not really substantive. I have opined before he has soul-less eyes. Again, not real substatantive.

Maybe you should call up Dean and his new pal Gore and sing Kumbaya…maybe you 3 could hum the Coke song afterwords in the warm glow of thousands of children holding candles…
By the way, that is humor. Please dont involve the ACLUE or Rainbow PUSH coalition to pursue prosecution against me for poking fun at your pal Al…
