which you weren’t. But it has been 47 days since Politically Correct Dog’s encounter with the skunk and his head still has the faint smell of it. Periodically, we’ll catch a little whiff but if you smell right between his eyes, it’s definitely still there. 47 days, skunk cure treatment, at least 4 baths and it’s still there.

A neighbor had the same thing with their dog…took a face shot around Labor Day, and you’d still get the occasional whiff of it around Thanksgiving. It gets into the hair follicles, I think.

don’t mess with skunks..unless it is with a 12ga at thirty feet…I had one on the front porch last week that was THREE TIMES bigger than our Tomcat…
