Baby Talk
So far:
Crib – $300
Dresser – $599
Armoire – $799
Glider – $300
Stroller – $199
And we got a lot to go.
While at Babies R Us, we discovered that in Tennessee a child less than age nine or less than 80 pounds must be in a car seat. To me, that seems a bit excessive.

Dude. You got the Crib cheap.
And I have discovered that it is almost impossible to leave Babies R Us without spending at least a hundred bucks. I fear that store the way other fear the bubonic plague. Anyway, if you are onep to advice form a veteran parent: by a white noise machine. That thing is a life saver – it helps the little ones stay alseep longer.
And I thought the law was 40lbs = Car seat
80 lbs = booster seats.
the booster seats are just what they sound like: a booster to make sure they are hihg enough to not be damaged by the shoulder restraints almost all cars have now.

See i don’t even know the difference between boosters and car seats. I got some reading to do.
The crib was cheap because the one the Mrs. liked was discontinued. It retailed considerably higher before the make was discontinued.

I’ve discovered the same thing about the Home Depot.

Hopefully it wasn’t discontinued for safety reasons. 😮
