You don’t trade down
This is beyond me. Trading an excellent H&K USP for a rattly 1911. No accounting for taste.

I’ll field this one. I owned a Kimber a few years ago and it was a fine gun after you put about a hundred rounds through it. It was very stylish for a 1911 style weapon. Still it ejected brass towards my face nearly every time and just like most 1911’s was a pain in the ass to field strip.
The HK holds more rounds(and hopefully will go back to 12 rounds if that damned law sunsets), has more adaptability in terms of a rail for lasers/tac lights…sights, grip sleeves, and floor plates for magazines. Also can use a threaded barrel if that’s your cup of tea. The SEaLs use a modified model themselves.
No comparison my my book, but to each their own.

Truly a matter of taste. Yes, the Mercedes looks better, has more comfortable seats, nicer paint, and probably more top end than a GTO, but a GTO is a GTO.
