Today On NPR
On NPR, that bastion of media fairness despite what some folks think, was an in depth look at George Bush taking shots at John Kerry. Oh my! Funny how when John Kerry was taking shots at George Bush they were called criticisms. Odd. Nope, no bias, keep moving.
That was as far as I got because I realized that being in the convertible with the top down, it is not cool to listen to All Things Considered unless those things are conservative. Had to go with some Mudvayne instead.

I looked at the entire show for March 4, and find nothing about the campaign at all.

It was the afternoon program so it may have been just the news.

The closest I can find is this from the previous afternoon, and you’d be hard-pressed to call it slanted to the left. It uses the term “attacks” to refer to Democrat-on-Democrat criticisms, and at times it’s very critical of Kerry. You’re absolutely right. Move along, people, there is nothing to see here.

Possibly so, but it’s only indicative of a leftist bias if they use the term exclusively with respect to Bush. I’ve heard them talk about Kerry “taking shots” at Bush, so again, as I said, there’s nothing to see here.

Frankly, I’ve never heard them use the term applied to Bush (only to Kerry), so I guess we’ve both got some audio searching to do or the point is forfeit by both of us. 🙂
