Lots of teachers apparently left behind
Turns out teachers don’t do so well on tests. Another study is here. I’m starting to see why teachers oppose No Child Left Behind requirements about testing.

Yes, accountability. Teacher unions tremble when they hear that word. They even get pissed when you try to track their certifications. Testing not only provides a method to track student progress, but it’s also a great indicator of teacher performance. Which is why they hate it so much.
