Conflicting data from the Republican Controlled Media Conglomerate
Massachusetts senator John Kerry holds a three-point lead (47 percent to 44 percent) over President George W. Bush among likely voters, according to a new Zogby International poll. The poll of 1,049 likely voters was conducted Thursday through Saturday (April 15-17, 2004). Overall results have a margin of sampling error of +/- 3.1.
As worries about the Iraq war and terrorism have pushed ahead of the economy among the public’s priorities, President Bush has edged ahead of Democratic challenger John Kerry, national polls suggest.
The ABC-Washington Post and CNN-USA Today-Gallup polls, both released Monday, showed Bush with a slight lead over Kerry in a three-way matchup with independent Ralph Nader.
Seems the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy isn’t so vast nor is it particularly conspiratorial. Maybe they should get together?

Yeah, because these disparate poll results prove that right-wing bias is nonexistent in these news sources…
Wait, but that’s not what you said… you said that this shows that “the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy isn’t so vast nor is it particularly conspiratorial.”
Except that it shows no such thing. And that I’m not aware that anybody prominent (left OR right) has ever said that colluding to skew poll results in a likewise manner was an essential element of media bias.
So much straw, so little time… 🙂

Heh! Actually, i just thought it was odd that two presumably rightwing news sources had different polls.

I don’t think there’s any “presumably” about it. Newsmax is open about their bias (just look at the site ads). Fox News still claims “Fair And Balanced ™,” but with a giant Wink and Nudge ™.
There’s nothing unusual about having different polls. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two news sources agree on poll results. 🙂
