What a waste of time. Kerry would be better served meeting with Pat Buchanan and encouraging him to run as an independent. 🙂

If Nader is running to influence the Democratic party, this is his big chance to push for specific concessions in the Demoractic platform, a chance to speak at the convention, policy considerations and the like.
The only problem is that I don’t think Kerry could offer Nader enough to make it worth dropping out. I also don’t think Nader could hold up his end of the bargain, which would probably require enthusiastically getting behind Kerry.
