Coo Coo for CoCo Puffs
On Sept. 16, 1991, George Hennard drove his pickup truck through a cafeteria’s plate glass window in Killeen, Texas, took out a Glock 9-milimeter semiautomatic pistol and a Ruger P89, and methodically shot 22 people to death before shooting himself in the head. (sic)
And the assault weapons ban would not have prevented it.

Licensed concealed carry could have prevented it. Which is why the woman who left her gun in her glove box that day and saw her parents shot and killed led the drive to change the law in Texas.

IIRC that woman is not some sort of politician, or lobbiest for that exact reason as well.
Will see if I can find that.
Oh and on a tasteless note, my father was eating at another Luby’s at the time that happened, and he had jusst got through trying to eat some “raw” pot roast. (He believes everythging should be charred and hard to be fully cooked, and did not really want to make a scene at his bosses retirement “party”
Anyrate he was really mad, and can be really crude when he wants to be, so as they were leaving they heard on the TV or Radio there that there had just been a shooting in Killeen at the Lubys, and my father blurts out “Yeah, they probably gave him some of that raw pot roast!”
morbidly tasteless, but still makes me chuckle, maybe its just cause I know my dad….
