Oh, that liberal media
The WaPo filed an independent request for records about one of the Swift Boat Vets under the Freedom of Information Act. But they can’t do the same for the guy who’s running for president?

Kerry released all of his military records, why would they need to? They’ve already got everything they can get via a FOIA and more.

To my knowledge, kerry has not released all of his military records.

That’s what all this hubbub comes down to here recently. He hasn’t released all his records…might cool all this stuff down if he did.

Since activity in Cambodia was one of those “unofficial official” type policies, would there even be any record of it if he had actually been there?
Also, why can’t SayUncle file such a FOIA request?

I could but I don’t hold myself out as a media outlet.

I’ve seen it gone back and forth as to whether he did or didn’t release everything but I won’t wade into that. I assume that there are parts of ones military record that can only be released by consent of the individual and some that can be accessed via FOIA. I assume at this point that Kerry would have released everything accessible via FOIA.

It is my understanding that Kerry has not signed the 108 form or 180 form or something or other that Bush was badgered into signing earlier during the whole “Bush was AWOL!!!” thing earlier.

Kerry’s own communications advisor admitted that Kerry hadn’t signed a From 180 in yesterday’s Washington Times.
