Mr. Blasty Update – More toys
Since I’m photoblogging: Got some new gizmos for Mr. Blasty, which include a tactical sling, a universal mounting platform (or a rail in English), vertical fore-grip (to aid in spray firing my bullet hose), and an EOTech Holographic Weapons Sight. And you may have noticed I got some Frankenmags, which are the tops of AR mags welded to the bottoms of AK mags. Apparently, the 7.62X39MM doesn’t do so well in straight mags and likes curved mags.
Pretty cool.

That’s a fine lookin’ hip-shooting, death-spraying bullet hose you got there. Color me green.

Very sexy. That’s the same sling I have for my bullet-spraying death-dealer. How’s that EOTech working for ya? That magazine is a horror, though. 😉

Haven’t shot with the EOTech yet or the new mags yet. Those straight 7.62 mags were problematic. I have five and only one works reliably. The others misfeed or jam regularly.
And the mag is ugly but should work well.

how many child killing, terrorist, armor piercing, shoot down an airplane rounds does your mag hold?

30. I wish it came in 20 as it is rather long. They make 10 rounders but I’m not interested since I have anti-gunners to annoy. Maybe they’ll make an 11 rounder just for me?

Man, that mag is fugly.
As for 30 rounders, you need to get some of the Hungarian 20 round tanker mags, then find someone to weld a couple to the tops of a couple AR mags.
I remember reading somewhere that there was a company that actually made an AR lower than used AK mags. Imagine it involved some changes to the mag catch mechanism, among other things.

You mean AR47 (http://www.ar47.com/).
$345 for a lower plus $100 bucks to modify the upper? Or a standard lower for $100. No thanks 🙂
